Dr. Daniel R. Fiehrer Dr. Fiehrer is an undergraduate of University of Dayton with a B.S., graduate of Ohio University D.D.S. and Ohio State University M.S. in Orthodontics in 1972. He has also served as the President of the 5th District Dental Society. Dr. Fiehrer attends between 10 to 30 hours of continuing education annually. He runs an on-site orthodontic laboratory for all of his personalized orthodontic appliances and is a certified Invisalign orthodontist. Dr. Fiehrer taught in the dental hygiene program at Carroll College in Helena, MT from 1974 to 1984, Oral Morphology and Embryology as well as being a clinical instructor. He received the TT Rider Award from the Montana Dental Association given annually for distinguished services to organized dentistry and the people of the State of Montana in 2002. Dr. Fiehrer has also received the prestigious Presidential Award from the President of the Montana Dental Association for his continued service to organized dentistry. Dr. Fiehrer served on the board of directors for the Florence Crittenton Home and the YMCA. He was appointed to the State Board of Health and served during the Schwenden administration. Dr. Fiehrer was a dentist on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in Montana. He was awarded and given the name “Holy Eagle” for his association with the Blackfeet Indians. He was executive producer of the historical documentary “Okan, Covenant With the Stars” (Sun Dance Medicine Bundle). He was painted, blessed and presented a headdress by Chief Earl Old Person in the summer of 2008 at Browning Indian Days for treating over 250 Blackfeet children and the production of the documentary. Dr. Fiehrer is married to his grade school sweetheart, Mary Ann, with two grown daughters and three grandchildren.    The Team   The 30 years of combined dental and orthodontic experience makes Chris, Kathy and Nicole (left to right) an integral part of our team. They are all trained as orthodontic technicians. Our office is Invisalign certified and trained in the latest orthodontic treatments. This team finds it rewarding to see our local kids grow up to be happy adults with great smiles. They are grateful to be able to give these families the smiles they deserve. Marie, our laboratory technician, has 38 years of experience in orthodontics, 28 of those years have been with Dr. Fiehrer at Helena’s Brace Place. She makes all the retainers and other intra-oral appliances. Marie feels truly fortunate to have a career that she loves.   When you visit our front office, comfort is our priority! Meagan, our Financial Coordinator, and Tina, our Front Desk Receptionist, are always dedicated to providing you with personalized care. Our Front Office Team enjoys creating a family-centered, upbeat environment. Meagan and Tina enjoy making every effort to insure that your family is well informed. We are experienced in orthodontic insurance and work closely with your general dentist to coordinate your treatment and answer all of your questions.
